VIDEO: Library Connection: Sylacauga

Our CEO, DeWayne Cuffie, and Mission Programs Manager, Kay Simmons, recently visited the B.B. Comer Memorial Library for Library Connection, where they sat down to share exciting updates about our new Sylacauga location and the mission-driven work happening across Alabama every day.

One of the highlights? BookWorks — Alabama Goodwill's program dedicated to getting books into the hands and homes of children who might otherwise never have the chance to own one. Last year alone, Alabama Goodwill received 5,760,311 pounds of donations, and so many of those were books just waiting to find a new home and a new reader.
